The most important thing when CNC plasma cutting machine working is to avoid interference factors, which can guarantee the quality of cutting, and then we introduce the factors that affect the cutting quality of CNC plasma cutting machine.
1. gas flow
The increase of gas flow can not only increase the voltage of the arc column, but also enhance the compression of the arc column, which makes the plasma arc more concentrated and more powerful, thus improving the cutting speed and quality. However, if the gas flow rate is too large, it will shorten the arc column, increase the loss of heat, and weaken the cutting ability until the cutting process can not be carried out normally.
2. cutting speed
The various factors of the cutting speed above the plasma cutting machine directly affect the plasma arc compression effect, which is the influence of the plasma arc temperature and energy density, while the plasma arc has high temperature and high energy, which determines the cutting speed, so all the factors are related to the cutting speed. Under the premise of ensuring cutting quality, the cutting speed of CNC plasma cutting machine should be improved as far as possible. This not only improves productivity, but also reduces the amount of deformation of the cut part and the area of heat affected by the slotted area. If the cutting speed is not suitable, the effect will be the opposite, and the slag will increase and the cutting quality will decrease.
3. no-load voltage and arc column voltage
The power supply of CNC plasma cutting machine must have high enough no-load voltage so that arc ignition and plasma arc stabilization can be easily carried out. The no-load voltage is generally 120-600V, while the arc voltage is generally half of the no-load voltage. Increasing the voltage of the arc column can obviously increase the power of the plasma arc, thus increasing the cutting speed and cutting the thickness of the sheet metal.
4. Plasma torch height
The cutting nozzle height of CNC plasma cutting machine is the distance from the end of cutting nozzle to the surface of the workpiece. The distance is generally 4~10mm. It is the same as the amount of shrinkage in the electrode, the distance should be suitable to give full play to the cutting efficiency of the plasma arc, otherwise the cutting efficiency and cutting quality will be reduced or the cutting nozzle will burn out.
