Once the CNC cutting machine fails, if the equipment manufacturer can not send the technical engineer immediately, the user can find and solve the simple problem by himself, and use the arc voltage regulator to adjust the cutting height automatically. First, the cutting mode of the CNC system is set as plasma mode and then the arc pressure regulator is started. Power Supply.
The first step is to test whether the manual height adjustment is normal. According to the manual rise and drop button on the gantry CNC plasma cutting machine, the movement of the cutting gun is observed correctly. When the cutting torch reaches the upper limit, the cutting torch should not rise at this time, the cutting torch should drop by the drop button; the cutting torch is pushed by the manual drop button and the cutting torch is cut at the lower limit position of the cutting torch. In order to confirm the upper limit position and the lower limit position, the above step is to confirm the upper limit position, the lower limit position, and the action is reliable, and the system will not cause the system error. If the cutting torch can not rise or fall, we must first check whether the cutting torch is in the upper and lower limit position. It is found that the fault of the limit switch should be replaced in time, otherwise it will cause the motor damage to be increased due to the switch failure.
Second step initial positioning test. According to the initial positioning button on the height regulator of the Gantry numerical control plasma cutting machine, the plasma torch should move down at a set speed, the cutting mouth contact with the steel plate and then stop at a set speed and reach the appropriate height of the arc. The height of the arc is usually 1.5~2 times of the cutting height. The user can change the arc height according to the actual cutting experience and adjust the positioning time to achieve the best cutting quality on the premise of reducing the damage of the consumables.
Third step arc pressure test. According to the initial positioning button on the height adjuer of Gantry CNC plasma cutting machine, the cutting torch reaches the arc height. According to the arc pressure test button on the height regulator, the arc pressure is observed in the arc pressure monitoring window. The arc pressure value should be close to the set value of the arc pressure. If the difference is too large, please adjust the setting value of arc pressure to make it close, otherwise, it will cause cutting height too high or dragging the cutting torch on the steel plate when cutting. In the two ways, the cutting quality will decrease and the cutting torch can be seriously damaged.
