The greatest advantage of Steel CNC table plasma cutter is fast cutting speed, small cutting seam and wide cutting range, which for most enterprises have great attraction, but in the actual use of equipment purchased, it will encounter a variety of problems, resulting in limited actual cutting speed, cutting seam too large, cutting surface irregularity and other phenomena. In addition to the mechanical failure of Steel CNC table plasma cutter itself and other factors, users do not correctly set the relevant parameters of Steel CNC table plasma cutter in use is also an important factor affecting the actual cutting effect. Numerical control plasma cutting is different from traditional flame cutting. Because of the need to introduce plasma power supply accessories, it is particularly important to control the relevant parameters of the power supply.

Plasma cutting power supply must have a high enough no-load voltage in order to easily ignite and make plasma arc stable combustion. The no-load voltage is generally 120-600V, while the arc voltage is generally half of the no-load voltage. Increasing the voltage of arc column can obviously increase the power of plasma arc, so it can increase the cutting speed and cut the metal plate with larger thickness. The arc column voltage can not exceed 65% of the no-load voltage, otherwise the plasma arc will be unstable.

Increasing cutting current of Steel CNC table plasma cutter can also increase the power of plasma arc, but it is limited by the maximum allowable current, otherwise plasma arc column will be coarsened, slot width will be increased, electrode life will be reduced.
